Peachy

This year for father's day we gave Tony a peach tree. It's in a big pot on the porch outside our bedroom where it can remain for a few years until we have to replant it in the yard. Next spring it should even give us peaches! When we first got to California we rented a house with a peach tree in the yard and LOVED it. I made tons of peach upside down cakes. After we moved into our new house and before the rental was occupied, I drove over one morning with Maggie and made her get out and steal peaches. The handyman was apparently inside and reported us to the Landlord who hated us already and this was just icing on the cake. Or fuzz on the peach. Anyway, a peach tree for an amazing dad. Tony, our girls are so lucky to have a dad like you, you're kind and smart and gentle. Maggie isn't in the picture because she had already gone to camp.
